Town Square would like to THANK EVERYONE for a terrific event this past Saturday at the Radegast Hall & Biergarten! A great turnout (over 200 people!!), tons of fun, exciting raffle prizes, arts and crafts and an amazing appearance by Santa made this first-time event a truly wonderful experience for children, young and old!
First, a big thank you to the Radegast Hall & Biergarten for allowing us to host our event in their establishment! The food was delicious, and under the circumstances of having 200 people show up all at the same time, we have to say that the courteous staff did an excellent job. Well done!
Also, Town Square would like to give a BIG THANKS to both the Greenpoint Toy Center and Smoochie Baby for not only helping us pre-sell the brunch tickets, but for their generous raffle contributions as well!
There are so many local businesspeople to thank for their support of our organization. The following people/businesses really outdid themselves with their raffle contributions! Thank you!
Finally, a huge thank you to Santa's helpers who made this event happen! Susan Anderson, Tory Avdek, Sivan Chapman, Lauren Dobkin, Marice Dorsey, Agnes Krukowska, Melody Schlossberg, Rebecca Eckstein from the Greenpoint YMCA and Nancy Hernandez from the Greenpoint Toy Center for their arts and crafts, Ladder Company 108 for coming down with candy canes and coloring books for the kids, Nick Glorieux from AXA Advisors for providing the coffee and juice, Jessica Glorieux for putting this whole event together, and Scott Specht for his camera work. And last but not least, Town Square thanks Santa for coming all the way from the North Pole to spend some time with the children.
