Sunday, October 25 Sun, 10/25 was our 6th Annual CHILDREN’s HALLOWEEN PARADE & PARTY Led by NY’s Finest Jazz Band, costumed kids and kids-at-heart marched down Manhattan Avenue to Nassau Avenue and back to Java Street for a spooktacular party! Children enjoyed arts/crafts by the Greenpoint Toy Center, refreshments organized by Nick Sellitri, games led by Ilona Zakrzewska of the Polish Scouts and Rich Mazur, and music by NY’s Finest Jazz Band. And here’s a heartfelt thank-you to all our volunteers (with a special shout-out to the student volunteers of MS 126!) who worked so hard to make this annual event happen for our kids and community. | ||
